Chinese New Year

Mommy say flowers and certain plants are very important during Chinese New Year and there are many different types of it. In our home, we would only be putting up the pink Plum Blossoms

I accompanied mommy till midnight to put up the Plum Blossoms in our home. Well, okay..I admit wasn't really helping to put it up but more interested in chewing them as they were laid out on the floor......hahahahaha.
No worries there are still plenty of them though ;p

It seems that these Plum blossoms burst forth at the end of winter on a seemingly lifeless branch. It signifies courage, hope and beauty.

Well, the ones that we have are not real one though but they are good enough to make mommy happy. I'm happy too when mommy is happy :)

Here's a picture of me with all the Pinky Plum Blossoms.

We have some stalks of those flowers and a big flower vase for them but looks like our humans will not be putting them up. She said she's just not in the mood for celebration. Maybe she's still missing our grandma who has left us in June 2010. We missed her too!

hey Jon Terry,

What pawsome pictures of you yesterday with your Chinese New Year decorations! Looks like a fun time at your house! The plum blossoms are beautiful!! My human, K, loves them! And we agree you look adorable under the plum blossom tree (and the tree looks real to us!).

We are glad your mommy is happy, and that you are happy, too!

Pip: Thank you for your early CNY greetings. Ohh yes! it is LULU's year. You better hold on tight to Lulu, it seems that all her bunny mates would be hopping all around and over too :)
