Green greenies

Not enough room

Shhh...I just heard that mommy is going outstation for a few days and I have decided that I will come along.

As you can see, her luggage bag fits me perfectly.

There's ample room not just for leg rest but for my whole body..hehehe

 There's even room for mommy's blue towel

 

As you can see, I decided to bring my favorite toy Little Chick along for this trip. What!! I'm summon to come out from the luggage.....but but I wanna come along...

Bah! this was a perfect plan for me to follow mommy but she said that there's no room for her toiletries. Silly mommy! she just needs bones to get her teeth just like how I do it. Why does she need room for toiletries. I am more important than all these other things......

Still at the end, I have to stay back home because there's not enough room for me T T

In the world of needles

As a dog with a hot and damp issues within, it has brought me into this world of needles. Needles that prick yet its these needles that has got me going for the better in my health. Yup,  this world of needles is what the human refers as acupuncture treatment.

Here I am chilling out at the treatment table with needles on my body.

Rest assured, acupuncture is not painful. I only have a tiny of discomfort when there are points that are giving me trouble meaning stagnation issues. This happens when the needles are being inserted in. Once it gets in, all is well and I'll chill at that the table for 20 mins.

This journey have also caused me to begin to do more study on Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCVM) which involves acupuncture, herbal medicines, acupressure and food therapies. I'm just wondering how this small peanut brain of mine is able to get all these information in but fortunately I have a good assistant, my "Mommy".....hehehe, her brains are bigger than mine so it should be able to store in those useful information.

In fact, I have her do all the reading and just summarize it by trying it out on me ^^ Actually..my mommy is the kind that likes to understand things so she will spend her time to read and ask questions on what this TCVM is all about.

I overheard our vet acupuncturist, Dr. Susanna Brida- Hofherr praising mommy as one who is willing to do more reading in order to understand better. This is the reason, she recommended that we  well..mommy should start off by reading this book called Four Paws, Five Directions: A Guide to Chinese Medicine for Cats and Dogs [Paperback] Cheryl Schwartz (Author), Mark Ed. Schwartz (Author)

Rosemary Chicken nuggets

Mommy tried her hand in making some rosemary chicken nuggets. 

This is what she calls healthy homemade pet treats.

This recipe requires 250-280gm of minced chicken meat, some dried rosemary powder and some brown rice powder to act as a binder. Mix all together then flatten it with a rolling pin to about 1/2 inch thick. Then use your favorite cookie cutter to cut it. Arrange all nuggets on your baking tray lined with baking sheet, bake it for about 20mins or till golden brown on both sides.

We got about 40 pieces of these.

 

Ahhh...I can't wait to try this nuggies!! Give me!! Give me!!..
